Café Don Miguel is more than a coffee brand — it’s a bridge between two worlds, built on heritage and heart.

Born in Colombia, Miguel Ferdais arrived in Quebec when he was only three months old. Miguel grew up in a farming family in the Montérégie region. Between the fields and the harvests, he developed a deep respect for working the land, while maintaining an unshakeable attachment to his Colombian roots.

In 2017, he returned to Colombia and reconnected with his roots. Warmly welcomed, he discovers at Finca La Manchuria exceptional coffee-growing know-how and a modern approach focused on quality and respect for growers.

Inspired by this experience, he decided to create a premium coffee, carefully grown in Colombia and locally roasted in Quebec, combining passion, tradition and excellence.

Back in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Miguel teamed up with a local roaster to sublimate each bean. And so Café Don Miguel was born - a tribute to his two identities, to his roots, and to the authentic work of coffee growers.
